Our client is an Australian-Family-owned-business in the supply of Steel and Industrial/Engineering and related products and services. They stock a huge range of steel products including structural, pipe, RHS & SHS, merchant bar, plate & sheet, builder’s mesh and concrete reinforcing and accessories. We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy team based in Sydney

The Role

• Mig welding
• Manual arc welding
• Fabrication of steel products from scratch
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Ability to read drawings and produce fabrication from detailed structural drawings
• A pressure ticket to weld up steel pipe work would be a bonus.
• Proficient in English

The Ideal Candidate

Proven experience as well as trade qualifications as a welder/fabricator are essential. You must possess at least 5 years in a similar role. Excellent communication skills are essential.

While local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 457/TSS visa sponsorship.
