The Job Role

Cooma Crash Repairs / Jindabyne Crash Repairs is seeking expression of interest from hardworking dedicated Vehicle Painters to join our team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing
• Application and blocking of filler and primers
• Metal preparation for paint
• Spray painting
• Prime and topcoat
• Colour matching
• Mixing paints to the right colour and consistency
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment
• Storing paints in the correct conditions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant trade qualification with 3+ years of relevant experience – essential.
• Must be able to perform repairs to large, medium and small crash work with attention to detail
• Keen eye to detail
• Adhere to all work, health and safety policies/procedures
• Experience in a variety of practices and techniques related to Masking, sanding, buffing, and detailing
• Knowledge of operating general paint / blast shop equipment and tools
• Great team player

Salary

The Annual Salary range is from $55,000 to $70,000 commensurate to qualifications, skills, & experience.
