Job description: Tv.Viasat trading as Top 10 provides rope access, rigging, technical, training and project management services to the telecommunications, mining and construction industries. Based in Perth, Western Australia our teams can be deployed to a variety of locations in WA (or interstate) that range from mine sites in remote rural locations to skyscrapers in CBD.

We are currently looking for a number of 6 Telecommunications Riggers to join our field-based teams for several projects around WA.

Job responsibilities will include:

• Assembles and installs rigging gear, such as cables, ropes, pulleys and winches;
• Works at height via rope access, climbing, scaffold or EWP and perform lifts, lowers, moves and positions a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts;
• Lifts, lowers, relocate positions or installs telecommunications equipment such as antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment;
• Works with cranes, Telehandler and Hiab Trucks to remove or install new structures;
• Carries out rigging techniques to install new steelwork on structures, including the requirement to climb monopoles, towers and guyed masts while 100% attached;
• Erects structures by attaching pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures;
• Installs guys wires, cables and attaches counterweights as necessary;
• Completes structure maintenance on towers, guyed masts, poles and rooftops;
• Rigging and general work, as required by the company

About you

• The ideal applicant will already be able to legally live and work in Australia and have the relevant qualification and/or field experience in the Construction industry;

What we offer

The role is for a full-time position with an annual salary between $70,000.00 and $80,000.00 per year. The salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

Our company can sponsor for 482 Visa however in those instances we would only consider people with significant experience and equivalent certifications to those which are listed above.
