Estia Health Southport is a modern and vibrant home, which joined our Gold Coast and Mudgeeraba aged care homes in 2019 to offer choice of care and services to the Gold Coast community. The home is close to public transport and a short walk to the shops and cafes at Chirn Park.
What is the opportunity?
Estia Health Southport has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a Part Time basis, working a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to, and assist with, the coordination of best practice clinical care that supports and enhances residents needs and wellbeing;
- Complete comprehensive, individual assessments and care plans for new and existing residents
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation including AN-ACC and Commonwealth standards
- Provide Leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers and Enrolled Nurses and promote a holistic team approach to the delivery of resident care
- Sound knowledge and procedural responsibility in medication management, wound assessment and dressing technique
What do you need?
Your proactive approach to advocating for our residents in accessing clinical and medical interventions is why you are an integral part of our team!
To be successful you will be enthusiastic, have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills;
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 12 months experience (Aged care highly regarded)
- The highest of standards for clinical documentation
- The ability to effectively lead a team (Leadership experience highly regarded)
- Prior AN-ACC experience (Highly regarded)
- Commitment to Work Health and Safety principles
