Refrigeration Services (VIC) Pty Ltd currently have several
positions available for experienced and motivated industrial Refrigeration
Mechanics to join our team. We as a company pride ourselves in our workmanship
and invest heavily in the ongoing training and support of our refrigeration
mechanics to bring them up to the forefront our clients requirements and
industry standards.

position, working 40 hours per week based in Sunshine West, Melbourne.

Our Refrigeration Mechanics are responsible for the
following duties:

·        Following plans and specifications to install,
commission, service and maintain Ammonia Refrigeration equipment;

• ·Installing parts such as compressors, motors,
  condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas,
  refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled water;
• ·Install and connect piping to refrigeration
  systems, checking that parts are installed, lined up and fit properly including
  drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending and threading
  piping;
• ·Test systems for gas of fluid leaks; Test
  refrigeration, chillers and air handling units and adjust, make sure that they
  work correctly;
• ·Checking and overhauling refrigeration systems,
  diagnosing faults and repairing and replacing defective joints and leaks;
• ·Maintenance on all types of valves and
  compressors, oil separators, evaporators, plate heat exchangers, chillers and
  condensers;
• ·Adjusting system controls and mechanisms and
  reassembling systems; Fault finding, dismantle malfunctioning systems &
  test components; and
• ·Undertaking preventative maintenance to plants

For this position, it is expected that you possess the
following work experience and/or qualifications:

• ·2 to 3 years’ experience in industrial
  refrigeration
• ·2 to 3 years’ experience with Ammonia
  refrigeration plants desirable
• ·2 to 3 years’ experience with CO2 plants
  desirable
• ·Cert III Air-conditioning & Refrigeration or
  equivalent experience
• ·Refrigerant Handling License
• ·Electrical D License Drivers License
