The client is a locally owned and operated family business delivering specialist refrigeration and air conditioning services across the Marine, Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Petroleum and Oil & Gas sectors in Darwin and the Greater Northern Territory, as well as further afield in Western Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand.

THE ROLE
The role’s primary purpose is to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in the Marine, Commercial, Industrial, Petroleum, and Oil & Gas settings. Project, installation, and some remote work are also required, as well as participation in our rotating on-call roster.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Is driven and motivated, with a willingness to learn.
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills,
- Has previous experience and qualifications in the refrigeration and air conditioning trade,
- Has strong troubleshooting skills and a technical mindset,
- Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
- Has the capacity to manage numerous tasks and to prioritise workloads, and
- Has high regard for the safety of themselves and those around them
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Restricted Electrical Licence
- Work Safety at Heights Certification
- Drivers Licence
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Working with Children Card
- Drive, motivation, and the willingness to learn, and
- A commitment to providing high-quality work and exceptional customer service

Our client is an approved TSS/482 Visa Sponsor (Australian work visa), and thus, sponsorship may be offered to well-qualified candidates requiring it. However, local and onshore candidates, including those on working holiday visa, who are immediately available will still be given priority.
