Oscars Hotel & Cafe Bar is a busy, vibrant hotel in Central Ballarat.

We currently have a position available as Qualified Experienced Chef.

You will work with Oscars team of chefs to ensure that Oscars consistent high-quality of food is upheld. The ability to multi task through busy service times and have input into our daily specials to keep them interesting and up with current food trends is required.

The successful candidate needs have the following: Skills and Experience

Cert IV in Commercial Cookery Have good references Seriously passionate about their food Be able to work well under pressure Have a solid background in bistro’s, restaurants and functions. Have a minimum 2 years experience in a Qualified Experience Chef role. Good knowledge in HACCP Must be experienced on Grill and Pan work Ability to work with a team Have excellent time management skills Available for immediate start We are able to offer regional sponsorship to the right applicant. Must be currently living in Australia. Assistance will be available to obtain accommodation in Ballarat.

Commencement date on approval of visa if applicable.
