Your new company

Our client is a leading construction company in the US that provides innovative solutions for infrastructure projects across North America. Their expertise covers a wide range of sectors, including highways, bridges, rail, and airports.

They are looking for talented Project Engineers joining them onsite on projects based in the USA.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for collecting and analysing cost data to monitor the project budget and estimates. You will apply resource monitoring and control principles, techniques, and technical knowledge of the construction project.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate project data, resources, specifications, and drawings daily.
• Provide technical input and monitor project schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Update project schedule weekly and attend owner meetings.
• Prepare and manage a three-week work plan and RFIs.
• Report project quantities and financials using cost coding.
• Support engineering team with quality assurance and certificates.
• Supervise and Mentor responsibilities including Interviewing, hiring and training employees.

What you’ll need to succeed

• At least 3 years of postgraduate experience in the construction industry
• Experience in resource monitoring techniques (i.e., cost accounting, estimating)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant Construction/Civil degree
• Australian Citizenship
