Job description: Due to expansive growth in the construction industry and a growing portfolio of work, Silverstrand is seeking a Project Engineer to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane or Gold Coast projects and employed on a permanent basis. About the role Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer is responsible for: Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Silverstrand and our client’s procedures, engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets and timeframes Prepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programs Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team Assist with Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers Ensuring quality requirements are being met Programming and planning of the works Preparing monthly financial reports including cost to complete forecasts Essential Skills and Experience Civil Engineering Degree or similar 5 years’ experience in an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projects Ability…
