We are working in close partnership with a client as they seek experienced Civil Engineers from the UK/Scotland who are interested in joining their teams for current and future contracts in Brisbane, Queensland With massive investment into infrastructure projects, the major projects pipeline in Queensland continues to grow and between 2022/23 and 2026/27 inclusive, the major projects pipeline is valued at a staggering $71.3bn. The project pipeline includes large infrastructure jobs such as earthworks, roads/highways, rail and bridges. As a Project Engineer you’ll be managing all aspects of onsite engineering functions on key infrastructure projects. You will thrive with the responsibility of achieving project time and budget objectives whilst assuming an influential role alongside an astute and experienced Project Manager. Background/experience required: Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer with a civil engineering contractor in Scotland/the UK Previous experience on roads/infrastructure projects would be useful Appropriate civil engineering qualification – ie HND/C or Degree 5+ years practical post graduate experience Our client s leadership team includes people from Scotland who originally relocated to Australia over a decade ago, so they understand what is involved in relocating from the UK and are set up to support anyone making the move, offering assistance with relocation (including flights, sponsorship/visas, initial accommodation etc).
