We are currently looking for Plant Mechanics to join our bustling CRC Industrial Engines teams. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful individual will be responsible for the repairs and inspections on a variety of small engines (mainly 13 – 32 litre engines), diagnosis, fault finding and troubleshooting on heavy mobile machinery. The individual will complete service reports, identify part requirements and meet customer requirements.
Location: Welshpool and Guildford
Roster: Monday to Friday (10.50 hour days) on a 2 Weeks Day Shift and 2 Weeks Night Shift roster, with the requirement to work one Saturday per month.
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Duty, Light Vehicle, Bus and/or Truck).
- Passionate about working in a mechanical environment
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively troubleshoot issues
- Accredited Forklift and Dogging Licence; or willing to obtain
- Experience in Engines, Transmissions, Differentials, Gear box drives, pump drives including Agriculture-Equipment would lead you to success in this role
- Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and great work ethic
