Inspiring Choices 4 Kids (IC4K) is a highly respected registered provider of NDIS therapeutic and support services for children, young people and adults.
We’re seeking a passionate, NDIS experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to lead our growing team of community-based allied health clinicians.

At Inspiring Choices 4 Kids in Robina, Queensland, we have opportunities for experienced practitioners or new graduates, looking to join our team of passionate allied health professionals – supporting families and making a difference to children’s lives. We are child centered and family focused integrative allied health clinic.
Our therapists support children with autism, Down Syndrome, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, neurological and developmental delays. Our focus is on primitive reflex integration, sensory integration, vestibula rehabilitation, neuromodulation and enhancing brain metabolism. We help to build skills and make a positive difference to a child’s life.
We are looking for a suitable candidate to join our fully integrated sensory and motor rehabilitation facility to support our existing services at Inspiring Choices 4 Kids.

In this role you will be:
Managing a clinical caseload involving the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the appropriate intervention program. Encouraging client and family participation in program evaluation to ensure that services are relevant to the individual family’s needs and priorities. Selecting, applying, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and their ability to meet goals and objectives in line with organisational/professional practice standards. Integrating occupational therapy services with other Kudos services to support a multi-disciplinary approach and liaising with and engaging in decision making, client reviews, planning sessions, program conferences and other appropriate meetings. Working and liaising with carers and families, service providers and community members to enhance the quality of life and choice for children and young people. Working remotely and across sites, depending upon organisational needs and objectives. Contributing to NDIS service planning as required and in line with a participant’s planning and review needs. Conducting ongoing review and evaluation of interventions to maximise outcomes for clients and families and to enable the most effective use of resources. Any other responsibilities in line with the position as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Kudos Services. The successful applicant will have:
5+ years of occupational therapy practice experience, including working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS. 3+ years in a team leader or supervisory role. Relevant Graduate/Postgraduate qualifications that allow for registration and practice as an Occupational Therapist. Registration with the AHPRA. Service Utilisation: Manage an active case load achieving 5 billable hours per day. Knowledge of current best practice interventions and of strength-based and child and family-centred practice Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare high-quality written reports, and other documentation as required. Proven ability to maintain professional networks to promote best practice in service provision for children and disabilities. Highly developed interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in partnership with people with a disability, their families, and support networks to deliver a range of specialist services. Capacity for intrastate travel. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment. A sound understanding of person-centred thinking, the principles of NDIS and the National Disability Services Standards. It is a requirement of this position that the successful incumbent maintains a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check which is satisfactory to IC4K.
