Job description: Qualified Diesel / Plant Mechanic to Service & Repair Loaders, Excavators, Industrial Engines & Generators as well as a wide variety of machinery. THE CLIENT

The company is based in Coffs Harbour on the Mid-North Coast of NSW.

Coffs Harbour is a prime location well known for its great lifestyle & laidback coastal vibe. The Coffs Coast boasts glorious white sandy beaches, pristine rivers & coastal landscape with a backdrop of mountains & rain forests.

They are Genuine Bobcat, Kubota & Husqvarna Dealers providing Sales Service and Spare parts support to the local and surrounding districts for over 30 years.

They Sell & Service Compact Construction Equipment, a full range of Agricultural Machinery, Industrial machinery & Lawncare Equipment.

They provide a “Five Star” fully equipped workshop with a hydraulic repair bench, fabrication bay, clean room for injector repairs, lathes, machinery wash down bay, 4 post hoists, diagnostic laptops, and specific tooling for our three leading franchises Bobcat, Kubota and Husqvarna. Factory Based product training is attended throughout the year in-house & in Melbourne

Repairs will be mainly workshop based with some Field Service.

A Full-Time Service Manager coordinates the Service department operations with the support of a dedicated spare parts interpreter.

THE ROLE and IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Repair and service all makes and models of construction and agricultural equipment.
• Fabricate, weld, and repair machinery including three-point linkage equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults, carry out hydraulic flow and pressure testing and change out of hydraulic components, diagnose repair and service final drives and hydrostatic transmissions.
• Troubleshoot 12v Electrical Circuits
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repair on Industrial Diesel Generators.
• Repair service and maintain commercial lawn mowing equipment such as compact diesel tractors, commercial out front and Zero Turn machines and cutting decks.
• All applicants must be Cert III Qualified Diesel / Mobile Plant
• Have own tools
• A minimum of 3 Years of Qualified Industry Experience is a must
• Have a positive approach with a high level of customer service in mind.
• Be willing to work in a positive team environment.
• Live in a Prime Coastal Location.
