Job description: We are seeking for Line Borer/Machinist in Qld and WA mining sites. The Client:

Field Mining Services is a leading provider of specialized mining equipment maintenance services. With a strong presence in the mining industry, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality solutions to their clients.

Job Summary:

As a Line Borer/Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the FMS Family, contributing to the maintenance and repair of mining equipment. Based in Mackay, you will work alongside a skilled and dynamic group of professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision machining and line boring tasks on various mining equipment components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Set up and operate machining tools and equipment.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and address equipment issues.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry
• Trade Qualified
• Proven experience as a Line Borer/Machinist in the mining or heavy machinery industry.
• Proficient in operating and setting up machining tools and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices

Qualifications:

• Relevant trade qualification in machining or similar field
