PETstock Vet Craigieburn is a purpose-built clinic located in a PETstock retail store. The clinic has a great range of facilities and equipment such as Ultrasound, full iM3 Dental suite, complete in-house laboratory equipment and digital radiography including digital dental radiography.

We are looking for Head Veterinarian to join our fun, happy, close-knit team who has the passion to develop and lead a clinic, build on the current foundations, and make the clinic their own.
Currently our staff promote and provide a high quality of Veterinary medicine and care, our clients are motivated to pursue diagnostic and surgical procedures. We also have a visiting specialist surgeon for more complicated surgeries, Veterinarians with an interest in surgery are encouraged to apply.
- Our team consists of 1 experienced vet, and 4 highly trained nurses.
- Working hours are negotiable, typically the clinic is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 3pm Saturday. Currently the clinic is closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.
As Head Vet, you will:
- With your Practice Manger, lead & guide team on a day-to-day basis.
- Be responsible for the day to day running of the practice.
- Lead by example & working to create a positive culture & working environment.
- Treat animals medically and surgically, prescribing medications, analgesics, and general and local anaesthetics.
- Determine the presence and nature of abnormal conditions by physical examination, laboratory testing and through diagnostic imaging techniques including radiography and ultrasound.
