The Hotels are spread across Sydney, Newcastle and Forbes.
We are recruiting for one of our beloved regional NSW venues, the Forbes Inn. Forbes is a town of around 9000 people, located in the central west of New South Wales.
This hotel is a 2 story, large format venue with exciting future plans. Its the largest in town and has a great local client base already frequenting the venue. The kitchen is currently pumping out 1500+ meals per week.
What we require:
- The ability to maximise staff productivity in a supportive environment.
- A creative mind to construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
- Exceptionally high standards – Being able to produce the highest quality of food at all times whilst complying with nutritional, sanitation and safety standards.
- Up-to-date with culinary trends knowledge and optimized kitchen processes
- An open mind with the ability to work closely the senior and venue management to take this venue to the next level!
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a strong relationships with local suppliers.
- The capacity to teach and mentor junior chefs, to grow their understanding of how an amazing kitchen performs.
We have leased a number of properties locally in town and are able to offer rent free periods to assist with you settling into town. You will have a supportive internal team and senior management/owners who have an aggressive approach to business and want to see you succeed.
