Head Chef/Cook

We are on the hunt for a Head Chef  to join our friendly team here in Wandoan at the Juandah Hotel Motel. We are the only pub in town and we have a fantastic busy atmosphere.
We are open to sponsoring or Visa requirments to the right applicant.
The ideal applicant we are looking for must;
• 3+ years experience in the industry running busy kitchens
• Able and willing to work weekends and public holidays when required
• Possess the ability to remain calm and work under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Have an extremely high level of care with the food you produce, including exceptional plate presentation, food safety and storage
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be diligent with food ordering and always meet budgets
• Good listening and communication skills
• Able to follow recipes, as well as produce ideas & menu creation
• having an eye for detail and a passion for making quality products is a must
• Maintain a high level of OHS at all times
• Hold a current Drivers licence
• Background check will be performed
Be respectful, curtious and be able to work as a part of a team is a must
$70 000 p/a +super and fully self contained accommodation provided.

    • Wednesday: Afternoon, Evening
    • Thursday: Afternoon, Evening
    • Friday: Afternoon, Evening
    • Saturday: Afternoon, Evening
    • Sunday: Afternoon, Evening
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
  • Work visa can be provided for this role
  • Expected start date for role: 18 September 2023
