The Practice
With continued growth in the area and an increase in patient demand, this practice is on the lookout for a GP to join their team and hit the ground running. This practice has created a supportive and non-corporate environment, where you will have the opportunity to earn well and achieve success within your career.
This innovative group owns three sister-clinics all located within a five-kilometre radius and linked via phone. You will have the opportunity to get your feet wet at two of the practices, providing you variety in your GP work. With 16 GPs working across the clinics, this strong supportive team will always ensure you have assistance and see to it that you never want for anything. Each of the practices feature multiple consult rooms and full support from a team of reception staff, registered nurses, emergency nurses and practice managers. There is nursing support at all times to ensure you can provide your patients with the highest level of care.
With a variety of allied health services accessible within a 200m radius of the practices, your patients will have access to comprehensive healthcare. Practice opening hours are Monday through Friday 8.30am to 6pm and they team are looking for a GP to work eight or nine sessions per week. With no on-call or weekend hours, work-life balance is yours for the taking.

The Location
Port Stephens boasts a wonderful collection of seaside villages dotted along the Pacific Ocean coast. It also enjoys a majestic sand dune system and picturesque hinterland. The beaches are excellent, and the local seafood is abundant. You can enjoy a scenic dolphin watch cruise around the port, which is home to over 160 resident dolphins. The area entices people from cities who are looking to relocate here to enjoy a healthier and more relaxing lifestyle. The area is also complemented by its wide range of sporting facilities, pristine waterways and social activities which include a variety of restaurants with plenty of fresh seafood.
The clinic is in a family orientated region with a choice of public and private schools which provide education from kindergarten to year 12. Local childcare facilities also include long day care centers and pre-schools.
Essential Criteria
DPA position available.
Health Workforce Certificate and visa sponsorship available.
RACGP PEP-Specialist Pathway eligible international candidates and GPs holding Specialist Registration with AHPRA are eligible for this role.
