The client is a locally owned refrigeration and air conditioning company in Darwin, Northern Territory.
They are seeking for commercial equipment technician who specialises in installing, maintaining and repairing commercial-grade equipment used in a variety of industries.
THE ROLE
Duties may include are installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment, i.e. dishwashers, glass washers, electrical combi ovens, fryers, ice cream machines, ice machines, bakery equipment, etc.
Applicants
SKILLS:
- MUST have a minimum of 2-years experience in commercial catering equipment repairs and maintenance to be considered.
- Self-starter with a high level of diagnostic/fault-finding skills
- Excellent time management, high level of multi-tasking and organisational skills
- Professional in dealing with the client
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of quality service to longstanding, valued clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Electrical License (Minimum of an NT Restricted Electrical Licence)
- Current manual Driver’s Licence
- Have (or ability to obtain) a Current Police Check
- Have (or ability to obtain) an NT Working with Children Clearance
- Experience working on Commercial Catering Equipment – 2 years minimum
