The candidates must have minimum 3 years experience, preferably in Asian cuisine.
Applicants must have cert 3 or 4 in commercial cookery, the ability to work as a team and weekend availability is essential, 38-40 hours/week.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience
Sponsorship Visa/Employer Nomination scheme ( Subclass 482, 186, 491) is available for the right candidate
Qualifications:?Cert 3 or 4 in commercial cookery
Job Type: Full-time, 38-40hours/ week
Salary: $55, 000.00 – $75, 000.00 p.a plus superannuation, annual leave, sick leave etc.
Experience:
Chef : minimum 3 years experience (Required)
Work Eligibility:
Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours
Job Duties:
Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Oversee and manage kitchen operations
Clean and organise kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
Preserve and store foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
Train apprentices and other kitchen staff
Cooking/non cooking responsibilities
Rostering of staff, food costs, ordering and stock control, conduct staff training, menu creation, food prep, cooking to order, ensure safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen
