Learn more about our low cost membership options by Clicking HereWe are a fast paced and growing family-owned workshop looking for a full time qualified Automotive Mechanic to join our team We are seeking someone with enthusiasm, a passion to learn and who have a genuine interest in a career in the automotive industry. Our company is an approved TSS/482 Visa Sponsor (Australian work visa), and thus, sponsorship may be offered to well-qualified candidates requiring it. However, local and onshore candidates, including those on working holiday visa, who are immediately available will still be given priority.
Qualifications & experience
- Trade Qualified Light Vehicle Motor Mechanics with at least 1 to 2 years of Automotive experience post apprenticeship. With current driver’s license Customer-service focused, with positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised Planning each job for maximum efficiency Making recommendations for additional work to client vehicle based on diagnostics Available to work Monday-Friday plus some Saturday mornings
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of a range of used and new vehicles Trouble shoot and diagnose issues on vehicles Provide the highest level of workmanship on all vehicles Opportunities to keep up to date with brand products and tooling through our extensive network of suppliers
- Adhere to correct procedures when performing warranty works Maintain workshop tools and equipment Complete all required paperwork with all details of works carried out Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedure
