THE CLIENT

The company are leaders in the automotive aftermarket suspension industry. Approaching 92 years in local manufacturing, the client is Australia’s most experienced supplier of replacement automotive springs and performance suspension components.

With a range of performance components for the automotive enthusiast including 4×4 shock absorbers, 4×4 torsion bars, panhard rods, lowering blocks, pins & shackles, polyurethane bushes as well as complete 4×4 suspension kits, camper trailer suspension kits and towing systems it’s no wonder why this client are looking to expand their team.

We are currently seeking an experienced full time Suspension Fitter with a keen interest in 4×4 modifications and Four Wheel Driving for our Master Sydney Branch located in Campbelltown.

Successful applicant will be rewarded with brand new workshop facilities (building, hoist, tools and equipment) plus will be offered a performance based salary.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Has previous experience with Suspension Fitting
• Must have trade qualifications in Auto Mechanical/light vehicles (would be advantageous but not essential)
• Must have current driver’s license with own reliable transport
• Be punctual and reliable
• Show attention to detail ensuring that jobs are always completed on time and to the highest possible standard
• Possess analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work with a small team in a fast paced environment
• Self motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to carryout directives from all levels of management
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Follow all internal procedures including OH&S practices
• Fork lift licence would be advantageous
• An interest in Four Wheel Driving

Benefits:

• Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications and excellent working conditions are offered ($60-80K per annum +bonus)
• Working hours – Monday to Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm with the occasional need for overtime)

The company is an approved employer sponsor. Therefore, whilst local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 482/494 visa sponsorship.
