Job description: Great employment opportunity for experienced and trade qualified Automotive Electricians. About the client:

Specialize in auto electrical and auto air-conditioning service, repairs, and spares for all makes and models of cars, trucks, boats, buses, cranes, and earthmoving equipment.

They provide full repair and electrical service capabilities throughout the Perth Metropolitan area and to some country areas, and operate a convenient mobile repair fleet for those who can’t make it into Welshpool workshop.

Location: Welshpool, Western Australia

Job Responsibilities

• Installing and fitting a wide selection of cars, trucks, boats, buses, cranes, and earthmoving equipment.
• Upkeep and repair car accessories as needed
• Work on all vehicle electrical systems and components, including ignition, fuel injection and engine management systems, anti-lock braking, battery, wiring and charging systems, heating and air conditioning systems, lighting and indicators. They must also be familiar with increasingly sophisticated in-car entertainment systems, including radios and video players, cell phone, navigation and vehicle information systems.
• Fault diagnosis
• Test vehicle lighting
• Estimate the cost of repairing or replacing faulty components.
• Install new electrical or electronic components or accessories for customers.
• Replace an entertainment system, for example, with a newer version or install a GPS navigation system

Requirements:

• Must have certificate in Automotive Electrician
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Installation and repair cars, trucks, boats, buses, cranes, and earthmoving equipment.
• Great customer service abilities
• Working in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting is a must.
